A Degree in Business Computing combines IT and Business Skills
A degree in Business Computing is a combination of a variety of IT and business-related skills and enables students to create a bridge between the IT world and business world. With this understanding, graduates are able to understand the business environment in which information systems operate and to determine the needs of business users as well as to create and implement IT-based solutions for businesses.
You’ll be able by leveraging your IT expertise to help businesses run, and develop products and service that are competitive. You’ll be taught how to work with a range of IT tools such as programming, web development and databases as well as developing the wider IT skills employers value from teamwork to problem-solving.
The course is closely connected to the industry. Every year guest lecturers from engineering partners and IT partners will share their experiences and work with you on real briefs. There is also the possibility to take part in a work experience and you’ll be able to choose the location and time in line with your interests and career goals.
